door thechaplain, 5 jaar geledenThe add-on itself is OK. However, you can't switch UI language, it's defaulted to the browser language, and the translations are full of huge mistakes, and the overall language quality is awful which drives me away from using the whole thing altogether.
UPDATE: even though I contacted BW with this issue and even put many hours of work into providing good translations for these strings, nothing has changed after 6 months - still no option to choose UI language and the extension and mobile app is still using the same terrible and uncomprehensible text elements, simply ignoring the correct ones I entered. Sad.
UPDATE 2: checked back after 5 years. Still the same. I just can't understand why you must force people to use the extension in a specific language, especially if your localisation is so awful.

It asks to save passwords that are already saved leaving you with multiple instances of the same password, but if you change the password, it doesn't change all of them. It's just a piece of shit.

additionally, it always asks me to "update" my passwords after signing into any website (multiple times), even though they are up-to-date.
Clearly the firefox extension is an afterthought and bugs aren't adressed, since this has been an ongoing issue, in addition to negatively affecting browser performance during typing in input fields, likely caused by the bugs mentioned. - Waardering: 5 van 5door Filoni, 18 dagen geleden

This happens especially when you use 2FA via Bitwarden. Apparently, the extension thinks you have entered a new password.
