Saves my sanity on YouTube by letting me block the trash that spills into my recommended videos.

When attempting to watch a video on a channel you've blocked previously, instead of saying the video is blocked, you're met with a blank screen and the video is blacked out. Leaving you wondering why youtube isn't working. Meanwhile, on chrome, it shows that the video/channel is blocked.

This needs to be fixed, you wasted a lot of my time.

The block menu in YouTube became not reflect but it is still working overall.
Im confirming block by channel ID or video ID.

This working of the block is that when you try to access the video, a black screen appears, and when you try to access the channel, you will be redirected to YouTube Home.

I feel that the BlockTube of Firefox add-ons is more accurate, than Chromium browsers' extension of chrome web store.

Without this extension, we would look many awful/poor contents in YouTube.
Now Version 0.4.5, The block menu in YouTube became work again!

Youtubeの仕様変更に伴い頻繁に使えなくなる事がありますが基本的にはアップデートでその都度対応してくれます。ですが241210現在の最新版は0.4.5ですがFirefox版は認証が下りないのか依然として0.4.4のままです。
→241214現在最新版の0.4.5に更新されました。以前のように正しく機能します。

Context menu doesn't work anymore, and it doesn't work on "made for kids" videos anymore.

I don't blame the developer(s) one bit, but my god I need somewhere to vent. I am so, SO tired of youtube and their efforts to get rid of adblockers, content blockers, alternate apps, pretty much anything that gives users more control over the shlt being forced down their throat.

Everything breaks constantly. This app breaks every few weeks after it's fixed, and STN for my TV breaks quite literally multiple times a day. Those devs have had to treat it like a full time job just to keep it working.

Google/Youtube puts this much effort into policing stuff like this but make ZERO effort to fix the problem on their end. All they care about is money.

So helpful. I've only used it a handful of times but boy oh boy does it come in handy. Thank you for making this!!!!!

Doesn't seem to work. Tried adding channel name, channel ID, or just using the dots menu, to block the channels. They still show up.

The extension still works and can still block videos and channels, but you now have to do it manually since the "Block Video" and "Block Channel" buttons no longer do anything.

Hopefully the developer will fix it soon.

Please split up the "Not interested" and the "Don't recommend channel".
Those things are 2 complete different things.

Favorite channels you're subscribed to can have uninteresting video's too.
