- Waardering: 4 van 5door maxlefou, 6 jaar geledenGreat. But would be even better if it was also providing romaji version of the readings

6 jaar geleden geplaatstYou can turn on romaji from the options page. Just tick "Show romaji". - Waardering: 3 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 12307588, 6 jaar geledenBien, mais seulement en anglais.
Goog, but only in English.Antwoord van ontwikkelaar

- Waardering: 3 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 15106044, 7 jaar geledenWould be perfect, if there was on option to show transcription in Romaji (Revised Hepburn) instead of Hiragana (like sadly abandoned Perapera Japanese). Some people use it for other reasons than learning the language.

7 jaar geleden geplaatstIt's definitely on my list of features to add. I hope to get to it soon. - Waardering: 5 van 5door Kees Bot, 7 jaar geledenThis is for me the perfect replacement for the old Rikaichan. My only wish is for a toggle in the preferences that would let me turn image ALT/TITLE attribute interpretation off.

7 jaar geleden geplaatstGreat idea. I've filed https://github.com/birtles/rikaichamp/issues/104 for this feature. Please feel free to add comments there about the specific reason for wanting this. - Waardering: 5 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 15029195, 7 jaar geleden
- Waardering: 5 van 5door leumas1960, 7 jaar geledenNote: this works great for Anki cards if you use it with ankiweb.
Incredible add on! Works anywhere, Chrome, Firefox, laptop, phone. Word exports work well with Anki now, as I had written in my review some time ago. There is no better add on for on-demand Japanese translationAntwoord van ontwikkelaar
7 jaar geleden geplaatstYeah, that's a totally reasonable request. Sorry for the delay. (I don't think I got email notification for this review somehow).
Would it work to also just add the [] to the reading in the c, t, version? Feel free to follow-up either on the GitHub issue I created for this: https://github.com/birtles/rikaichamp/issues/97 or on twitter: @rikaichamp - Waardering: 5 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 14534141, 7 jaar geledenthis is a fucking brilliant add on, cheers to the creator. makes life 400 billion times easier as a pleb trying to study japanese. i use it a lot to read those simple NHK articles (a great resource for anyone who wants to regularly apply their japanese reading skills - https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/ ). thank you!

- Waardering: 5 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 13543121, 7 jaar geledenSince the last dictinoary update, proper names are now showing up on top of the list of word definitions.
I do not like this change. Names dictionary still displays normally as always when I press shift. - Waardering: 5 van 5door curt, 7 jaar geleden
- Waardering: 5 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 14559974, 7 jaar geledenCan you please add the stroke order diagrams from KANJIDIC?
Edit: it's actually the Kanji stroke order fontAntwoord van ontwikkelaar
7 jaar geleden geplaatstThank you! There are no stroke order diagrams in KANJIDIC itself but I will look at adding something. - Waardering: 4 van 5door samurai80, 7 jaar geledenThank you very much for this porting of Rikaichan. Is there any chance you port Rikaichamp for THUNDERBIRD too ? That would be great to say the least, and I'll probably make a donation if you do so.
I've been working in Japan in a Japanese company for a long time and Rikaichan for Mozilla Thunderbird helped me A LOT. I recently updated Thunderbird just to realize that Rikaichan wasn't supported anymore. Please HELP !
PS: I tried getting the xpi file after adding the extension to Firefox and then import it into Thunderbird. While the extension is properly listed and shown as compatible in Thunderbird, it actually doesn't seem to work :/
EDIT: Thank you for the answer and happy new year :) I hope you or someone else can do something about it. Unfortunately I'm not into software dev :( If it takes less than 6 months it would be awesome !Antwoord van ontwikkelaar
7 jaar geleden geplaatstThanks. I started digging into this a little bit today. Unfortunately it does seem like it will take time. I posted some notes that might be useful to others who want to help out: https://github.com/birtles/rikaichamp/issues/46
