At the same time, we are working against similar teams at YouTube and Facebook, not to mention the many other sites where we are successfully blocking ads. It can't be that almost every day that I open the browser it takes me to a page that asks for payment. There was a point where I considered purchasing the premium package but decided not to due to the many times the program asked for payment. Just excessive! In the meantime I deleted and moved on to something else.

Since Twitch ads are inserted directly into the video stream, ad blockers must “race” to block ads on Twitch streams before the site can download them. This means that while AdBlock does block Twitch ads, we may not be able to catch every single ad before you see it.
