The name of new bookmark is often a problem. Home is still a popular name. Other new bookmarks have a cryptic name or an acronym as name. DOST for Department of Science and Technology

It is always necessary to control the new bookmark.

Is it possible to see the new bookmark to change the name before or direct after the insertation?

So far I haven't got an account on this site, but I wanted to give this add-on 5 stars, hence I created one. I can confirm that the newer Firefox versions are better, than the old ones, faster, more reliable, but I was missing the "Add bookmark here" add-on so much, I switched back to an older version of ESR. Unfortunately I had performance issues, I had to switch back to the newer version. I was looking for an extension that allows me to create bookmarks easier. Yes, dear Firefox Mozilla, your bookmarking is ridiculous! Thanks custom.firefox.lady for "Bookmark Tab Here", it saves a lot of time and frustration.

Coś tam działa. Niestety - jak dla mnie - nie daje możliwości zmiany nazwy zakładki, tylko przypisują ją automatycznie.

Works, but it doesn't work on an empty folder.

Well I see that, it would be nice if Mozilla allowed developer to have the option to add Menu-item in an empty folder space. Custom.firefox.lady, please suggest that to them because it is more intuitive to click inside the empty folder.

Suggestions:

1- the "Library" context menu does not have "Bookmark Tab here" I think it is possible with the current API, so why not? Why it is important to me? Because sometimes I bookmark many tabs to a certain folder. I can open that certain folder in the Library window and every time I am on an active tab I could navigate to the Library window and "Bookmark Tab (T)here". I have so many nested folders, Navigating them every time I want to bookmark a tab is tedious.

Thank you so much. This may get me using Firefox again. I haven't used it for over a year because of the lack of a feature like this and a couple of others. I have been using Palemoon which supports the older extensions, but there are some other issues with it.
Not as powerful as "Add bookmark here" but light years ahead of what Firefox offers.
This should be built in. Other browsers have it built in. Konqueror, for one.
Come on Firefox. Time to move beyond 1997.

And here I was thinking, Add Bookmark Here's functionality would never be ported to FF Quantum. Never underestimate the cleverness of developers, thank you author for this!

The context menu already contains 12 lines. And the [Bookmark Tab Here] menu item gets placed at the bottom. could it be possible to place it on the top of the context menu?

This is the only addon that can replace the so-missed "Add Bookmark Here. Thank you very much Firefox lady.

Great effort to bring this much needed functionality.

One thing left for full happiness: A somewhat hidden feature of 'Add Bookmark Here' that many times saved me from a lot of clicking was the 'Bookmark All Tabs...' (by default on the right click - see https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2/#&gid=1&pid=4 )

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! This is the best replacement I have found for "Add Bookmark Here". IMO this should be baked into FF because the default bookmarking sucks. If it worked with the bookmark sidebar it would be even more awesome. Please Mozilla, give the developer the ability to modify the bookmark side bar. Thanks again firefox.lady!
