In the "pre webextension" era i used Cookiemonster, block all Cookies @default and whitelisting the cookies i wanted with the addon in the firefox intern Cookielist.

Is this with Cookiebro not possible?

Delete ALL Cookies if you click "clear unwanted cookies". Cookiebro completely ignore all Firefox Settings. Not nice ... :-/

One last question: Your addon can delete "pluginData" at startup. Where is this storage place?

This is exactly what ive wanted! Before i was running firefox with no cookies allowed and had to add domains manually to firefox exceptions list, and without wildcard support, it become a bit of a mess for sites with many subdomains. This plugin blacklists every site by default and allows export of cookie permissions, which is super awesome! Really love this plugin so far. :)

Feature request: Allow syncing of cookie permissions somehow so it works across all computers for the same account.

As someone else pointed out, this seems to be a great replacement for selectivecookiedelete. I hope you keep it going.

Thanks for a nice extension. Is there any way to hook into History - Clear Recent History, so if you delete your complete history including cookies through Firefox itself, you can still preserve the whitelisted domains? Prior to Firefox 57, I used an extension called biscuit that supported preserving certain cookies, so when you cleared your browser history, you could delete all your cookies except certain cookies that you flagged - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/biscuit-220876.

Alternatively, could a menu option be added that clears your complete history for everything but cookies, and then does the cookie delete through Cookiebro, not removing the whitelisted cookies?

I really like that Cookiebro recognizes session cookies, so deleting all unwanted cookies will still keep you logged in on most sites.

Beyond the fact that it does what one of my favorite all time addons, Cookie Monster, used to do, it seems to have fixed the issues I have been having with Facebook ever since Firefox Quantum was released. So I'm guessing it was a cookie issue...

I was hoping this would automatically work with the whitelist I set up in Firefox Options before my prior cookie button fell victim to Quantum, rather than having to rebuild a new whitelist. I would like to use Firefox Options to block all cookies, then use a simple add-on button to whitelist particular sites. (Going Firefox Options to add exception is a big huge pain when you are in the middle of something.)

Finally a replacement for a very old extension selectivecookiedelete that fits my needs: periodic manual cleaning of cookies with the ability to review cookies that have been saved in the browser since the last clean-up (so that I can see what should be whitelisted). I have tried Cookie AutoDelete, but it doesn't support this workflow (see issue #225 on their repo). Cookiebro solves this issue for me.

One feature that I'd like to see is a way to clear only non-whitelisted session cookies. It's a bit inconvenient that the trashbin button in the options deletes all of them, including session cookies from wl'ed domains; it goes against the idea of having a whitelist. - Disregard that, 1.1.0 is now perfect for this!

Good replacement for my previous cookie addon. One thing it needs is for the icon to change so I know the status (white listed or not) of the current site I'm on.

Works well and author responded quickly to a bug fix. I prefer this to the other cookie addon which would only delete when you closed a tab. This one works by deleting cookies within specified times and adds a few other privacy features.
