The plugin does what it's supposed to do and it does so quickly. But most of the time, it's simply not working. I found that it's working the first few times after I open Firefox. But then it stops working. I can't get the CSS to reload. I try with hotkey, context menu and the {} icon in the address bar.

Closing and reopening the browser is even more time consuming that reloading the page and all of its assets.

Important EDIT:

I realized that the plugin stops working when I'm using "responsive design mode" in Firefox's developer tools. As soon as I exit that mode, the plugin starts working again. So it's not random.

MORE IMPORTANT EDIT:

The developer of this extension fixed the issue and now it's working perfectly, even when I'm using the responsive design mode. Great add-on! Great support!

If you're interested in helping out pinpoint and fix the issue you outline please file a ticket (https://github.com/StoyanDimitrov/css-reload/issues). There I can track down the issue and fix it for you and others that may be affected.

its so frustrating getting this to work without interfering with other shortcuts, just put a button.

Replaces the old CSS reloading plugin I was using, since that one no longer supports the latest version of Firefox. The other review here is outdated -- there is now an icon in the address bar that lets you refresh the page with a click.

Dear CSS Reload add-on authors (and I mean authors of ALL add-ons of this type)!

You must, YOU ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY MUST provide a non-keyboard UI to trigger CSS reloading. Having ONLY a keyboard shortcut will make your add-on UNUSABLE to those whose desktop environment intercepts this shortcut for something else!
