Pressing [Alt]+[Shift]+D just opens the menu bar as if I was just pressing [Alt].
(using Firefox 99.0.1 on Windows 10)
I think it has something to do with localization. I use a german translation, where the "File" menu is called "Datei". So [Alt]+D opens that Dropdown for me ignoring [Shift].
It says in the description, that "Shortcut is configurable.", but I cannot find where.
//Update: I found it, thanks to the Screenshot. I'm just stupid. Sorry.

One thing I'm trying to do (and I believe many others are too), is replacing the shortcut to be Ctrl+T. I've seen your suggestion to download the code, change the shortcut and then load it into about:debugging. I've been trying to do that but am stuck. I put the code into Notepad and modified "Alt+Shift+D" to be "Ctrl+T" but don't know what extension to give the file, if any. Also, when I'm in about:debugging, I can't find where to load the new code. Thanks for any help.
PS: Will the "Ctrl+T" I want to use override the default Firefox shortcut? (Hope so!)Antwoord van ontwikkelaar

Hi. Unfortunately they will not accept any extension that overrides a default shortcut. Judging by another comment, they only check the English shortcuts (apparently Alt+Shift+D overrides something in the German version). - Waardering: 5 van 5door 13049510, 8 jaar geledenLove it, replaces an extension that was broken by Quantum, albeit with a different shortcut. Would it be possible to *not* switch to the duplicated tab after it's created? I would just like to create it in the "background".

7 jaar geleden geplaatstIt is now possible to create the new tab in the background, but one drawback is that the tab history is not preserved. - Waardering: 5 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 12892697, 8 jaar geledenWorks gloriously and now I don't have to go through the trouble of grabbing my mouse. Ergonomics save the day. ;) It's actually more of a "keyboard macro" than a "shortcut".
