I like the interface and the way it lets me organize my RSS feeds.
BUT!
It has 2 drawbacks that don't allow me to classify it as the 5 star one:
1) Sometimes it corrupts all the feed DB. It already happened 3 times to me, but unfortunately I don't know the exact ways to replicate it (some PC lags?). I've restored the feeds from the backup (but lost a few new feeds and some read/unread history too). Backups are good, but addon database corruption just isn't.
2) I understand it is a multi-browser addon. But here is the disadvantage of that: the keyboard shortcuts problem. Ctrl+j is the standard Firefox hotkey to access the browsing History, but it is not working if you try to execute it on Feedbro page. It just marks current feed article as read (which is not what I would like to see). Much severe problem is the hotkey Ctrl+Shift+a which is the standard in FF to open addons page. If you run this hotkey in Feedbro tab it marks all feed articles as 'read' loosing all the read history (1000 unread articles in one of my feed folders are now marked as read and that is definitely an unacceptable behavior).
Guys, I understand that the first problem is not that easy to detect and manage, so just inform you. But the hotkey problem is the easy one. Please resolve that hotkey intersection problem. It looks like a bad style adaptation.

- Waardering: 3 van 5door binomialtie7087, één maand geledenGood simple rss/atom feed reader. it works as a browser extension so doesn't require logging in to some server hosted platform that trys to push you to pay for a better version of itself, whilst also not being a complex hard to understand self-hosted thingy. decent amount of customisability with 4 colour themes and several layouts. unfortunately it doesn't allow for subfolders, but ive managed around that. also recently embedded youtube videos no longer work which suucks, brings my review down from what probably wouldve been a four or five to three!

- Waardering: 1 van 5door t'svai, 2 maanden geledenhave used this for years to follow a variety of types of feeds, and it worked great until now. i especially like that i can manually drag-and-drop sort my folders and feeds, (which most other readers i've tried don't allow). it was a very good extension-based rss reader *while it was still fully functional*.
however, within the last few weeks or so, embeds in youtube feeds have stopped functioning and all return error 153.
this extension and many of nodetics' other extensions haven't been updated in multiple years (which didn't bother me until things started breaking... and still no updates came), and some reviews for some of their extensions indicate that the developers are no longer responsive to support emails. it's hard to say for absolute certain, but it seems likely that feedbro's development has been abandoned, which means that even more things - eventually important things - may break as time goes on.
for this reason, i'm lowering my review score, but will raise it again if extension development shows any signs of life in the future. with things as they are now - stuff breaking with no sign of maintenance updates - i can't recommend this extension to anyone. - Waardering: 5 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 19551841, 2 maanden geledenキーボードだけで操作できて、すごくよいです。できるだけ長くサポートしてほしいです。

It could then be set up to sync across devices and their various apps, guard against data loss, convenience.
