FocusTube helps reduce distracting short-form video and feed surfaces without blocking entire websites.

It is designed for people who still need to use YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn but want fewer distracting entry points.

• Hide the English “Most relevant” shelf on YouTube Subscriptions
• Block Instagram Reels and Explore pages
• Hide Instagram Stories and Reels navigation
• Block common TikTok feed and video surfaces

• Use Strict Mode for immediate blocking
• Use Warn Mode to show a “Watch Anyway” warning where supported

FocusTube is designed for study, work sessions, coding, research, and everyday browsing when you want fewer distractions while keeping useful parts of each website accessible.

Privacy:

FocusTube is designed to run locally in Firefox. Settings, timer state, and simple blocked-count statistics use browser-local storage. The extension does not include analytics or telemetry and does not send browsing activity, settings, or statistics to a project-controlled backend.
