Now, the extension prompts the user to save the login even though the login already exists. Honestly, macOS26 has been the best and the worst version ever. Steve would have been infuriated that the user interface is so broken. - Waardering: 5 van 5door timpea, 4 dagen geledenRunning MacOS 26 and it all works perfectly for me, I nearly didn't download it because of all the recent 1* reviews.

This is infuriating as Apple has released an update to the extension for Chrome based browsers that fixes this but NOTHING for Firefox!
- Waardering: 2 van 5door Martijn, 9 dagen geledenIt somehow works better on Windows than it does on MacOS, including for the same reasons people are mentioning below (the login popup, or somehow treating random form items like password fields).
The addon has not been updated since December 2025, while the Chrome version has had multiple updates. And that version also seems to address these issues specifically in its updates. - Waardering: 2 van 5door JFLyers, 14 dagen geledenSame as a lot of other reviews. Everything is great except after every login a popup asks for the username to save even though that info is already there. Every login. Annoying to the point that I disabled the extension.

Temporary fix: disable this stupid setting:
In-Page AutoFill
Allow iCloud Passwords to offer credentials from an in-page list. You can always fill passwords from the iCloud Passwords toolbar button, even if this option is turned off. - Waardering: 1 van 5door MeltingReactor, 20 dagen geledenIt doesn't work on Firefox. When added for the first time it just tells you this: "The Passwords extension is not currently
available on Firefox for Windows. It is
available in Chrome and Edge." - Waardering: 1 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 19831200, 21 dagen geledenThis extension makes Firefox unresponsive whenever I try to type something in any textbox, not just password. It's a shame this comes from Apple.

- Waardering: 3 van 5door Deedeed, 23 dagen geledenSame as previous comment: worked more than fine for a long time, now it keeps displaying a message saying: "Enter the username for this account to finish saving your password and allow safari to autofill."
Even though that password had already been saved and this issue was not happening. - Waardering: 2 van 5door JoaoRuss0, één maand geledenWorked more than fine for a few weeks, now it keeps displaying a message saying: "Enter the username for this account to finish saving your password and allow safari to autofill."
Even though that password had already been saved and this issue was not happening. - Waardering: 2 van 5door Ninja101, één maand geledenNot a great implementation, basic features work on macOS but this extension needs improving.
- Prevents enter key on login forms
- Needs ability to exclude site/domain from autofill/prompting update - Waardering: 4 van 5door Jefft, één maand geleden
- Waardering: 4 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 15201000, één maand geledenWorks well enough and I haven't noticed performance issues related to it. A few annoyances:
- prevents hitting Enter to submit a login form
- requires being authorized via push notification after every Firefox reinstall (I'm on the beta channel so this happens often)
- no option to just fill in passwords without needing TouchID for every one
Really, this thing shouldn't even be necessary though. Apple provides the APIs for Firefox to directly access iCloud Keychain. Firefox should be using them. - Waardering: 3 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 17639658, één maand geleden

- Waardering: 1 van 5door Konstantin, 2 maanden geledenDoesn't work. Literally. Remove this from extension market then.
- Waardering: 1 van 5door jaw, 2 maanden geledenit's extremely buggy and probably deliberately so. Apple does not want you to switch from Safari to Firefox
- Waardering: 1 van 5door Lynus, 2 maanden geledenwhy add it to the store if it isn't even available? i don't see the point.
- Waardering: 1 van 5door lax, 2 maanden geleden"The passwords extension is not currently available on Firefox for Windows. It is available in Chrome and Edge." So yeah, thanks. How about not adding this in Firefox add-ons store then?
- Waardering: 1 van 5door hppr, 2 maanden geledenIt makes my Firefox SUPER LAGGY, doesnt work, its bad
