1. Summary
   Kukiji is a browser extension for Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera and Mozilla Firefox that lets you export, import, and delete your own browser cookies in JSON format.
   Kukiji does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything happens locally in your browser. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no telemetry, no remote servers, and no third-party SDKs.

1. What Kukiji can access
   To do its job the extension declares the following browser permissions:
2. cookies — required to read, write, and delete cookies in your browser (core feature)
3. downloads — required to save the JSON export file to your local Downloads folder
4. storage — used only to remember the last domain you typed in the popup (stored locally via chrome.storage.local, never transmitted)
5. activeTab, tabs — used to read the current tab's hostname so the "Current tab" button can pre-fill the domain filter
6. host_permissions: <all_urls> — required because cookies belong to arbitrary origins; the cookies API is keyed to URLs and the user must be able to operate on any domain

These permissions are used only while the popup is open and only after direct user actions (Export, Import, Delete).

1. Sharing
   Because no data leaves your device, there is nothing to share. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data.

1. Remote code
   Kukiji contains no remote code. All JavaScript is bundled inside the signed extension package reviewed by the browser stores.

1. Children
   Kukiji is a developer / power-user utility and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly process children's data.

1. Security
   Cookies you export are saved as a plain JSON file on your device.
   Treat this file like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to reuse your authenticated sessions. Store it securely and delete it when no longer needed.

1. Your rights
   Because no data is collected by the publisher, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete on our side.
   The locally stored "last domain" preference can be cleared at any time by:
