The New Internet Extension provides a trust minimization sandbox for web apps that have opted in to the Can't Be Evil Sandbox scheme. It also locally tracks statistics on the use of the third party resources by all websites. such as images, scripts and fonts.

App developers can opt in to the Can't Be Evil Sandbox by setting an http header on their site. By default the extension is only enabled on sites that have opted in. When enabled, the extension implements a content security policy that prevents the loading of third party assets and the use of cookies.

This extension does not send data to any third parties.
