Great idea, however I don't know if its just an issue on my end or if its an actual error, when I use Bing it still pops up the copilot response, not even blocking it. I didn't want to rate it too low since it seems to work for other people, it just did not work for me.

    I use Google a lot. I tried finding a extension for chrome but didnt found one... Here it just works wonderful ☀

    I love the idea and was excited to try the extension. Though, once installed I quickly realized the extension doesn't remove the AI it only blocks it. Since the AI loads and isn't removed it defeats the purpose of me installing it as I wanted it in order to combat my part in the ecological stress from AI searches. I would love to see a version that doesn't allow the AI to load up, and therefore doesn't add more stress to the issue. Love the concept <3

    response: thank you for explaining, that makes a lot of sense and is truly saddening. i hate to see that its gone so far, and thank you for putting the effort in to make an extension like this so that you at least don't have to see AI. and thank you for recommendation, ill probably switch to that search engine :)

    Fully agree with you but unfortunately that is out of any of our control. Unless you search something that is innapropriate for the AI to respond to, google and other engines with AI will always attempt to create an AI result no matter what and unfortunately it's not possible to change it. If there's ever a way to trigger "It's too innapropriate to generate a response, don't generate one" it will be added of course (if it doesn't hinder results).
    I suggest you to use a search engine like Ecosia which has *optional* ai-features, allowing you to remove the AI overview stuff entirely & if you care for it, the ai search results that the extension can remove
