But when it went offline I had to search for information as to why it was not available anymore. I found some post on Reddit, but the Nord-account stopped providing us with updates or replies. Leaving us in the dark for weeks is just lousy customer service. I have cancelled my (second) 3-year subscription on all Nord-services, after being a loyal paying customer for years. Sad to do so, but this is NOT how you treat your customers.

If I don't agree, I have to remove the extension! (Copied from another review).
Besides that, I've only had problems so far. The new extension won't let me log in and seems to get stuck loading.
Before that, no Firefox extension for weeks.
This software is a pure mess.

9 maanden geleden geplaatstHi! We understand your frustration with the consent that we present you. In terms of your data, nothing has changed. The mentioned information is collected in order to provide the key functionality - mainly autofill and autosave, where we need to collect information such as email and website addresses. This data is securely encrypted and is not reachable to us, but if the consent is not given to process this data in an encrypted form, we cannot offer a critical functionality of our extension as it simply becomes unusable.
The reason you see the consent now, but not before, is that Mozilla currently requires it to be presented to extension users and a consent must be given in order to provide the service. Without the consent, we cannot provide it. This is a requirement to all password managers (some still to refuse to apply it).

I have used other password mangers and all have been effective but this one is horrible. I have to manual add username name and password when logged into Nordpass. Then I have to keep login into it when using Firefox and still not effective. This app needs help PLEASE

L'extension maintenant est juste une copie de l'application PC, et en plus de ça elle ne communiquent pas entre elles.
Donc l'application PC n'a plus grand intérêt pour remplir automatiquement nos données sur notre navigateur.
Et en utilisant juste l'extension, on doit ouvrir le navigateur en premier puis accéder à l'extension et faire des copié-collé pour se connecter à des services utilisant des app (hors navigateur).
En plus de ça, l'extension ne permet pas à l'utilisateur de se connecter via le lecteur d'empreinte, donc on est obligé de rentrer notre MDP Master à chaque fois, à la longue ça devient chiant.
Pour contrebalancer ça vous proposez de rester connecter à nordpass pendant une certaine durée (coché sur 1 semaine de base).
Mais je doute que cette pratique soit saine pour sécuriser ses données. Un ordinateur peut être partagé et donc laisser la connexion active plus de 5min est risqué je trouve. Ce qui est en contradiction avec le but du service NordPass.
