It did an excellent job before the FF update.
Reinstalling the extension or deactivating all other extensions doesn't help.
After checking again, I found out that there are only certain sites I cannot visit. One is https://www.computerbox.at/ although connected to Austria

2 jaar geleden geplaatstHello, I can't reproduce from my side. May I advise checking the permissions of the extensions (in about:addons) are all enabled and if still not working trying to re-install the extension?

- Waardering: 1 van 5door sushigal007, 2 dagen geledenMaybe it's because I'm on the Windows 7 ESR version of Firefox, but this addon just doesn't work for me at all, clicking on it just gives me a "NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource" message. A pity because I have the standalone program and the android app and love them both, but sometimes I just want to use a VPN for a couple of websites rather than for all my internet traffic.

I routinely keep about:addons open so I can turn the extension off and on again. When I click the extension icon in the toolbar in this state, it just shows me a loading spinner. Besides this hiccup, the extension works great. (I am a subscriber.)

Since last year, the connection has become unstable in China, and there are times when I simply cannot connect, no matter how many attempts I make.
Additionally, the login process requires accessing the proton.me domain, which is not feasible in China. I have to use other tools to bypass the Great Firewall just to log in to ProtonVPN, which is quite absurd. On another note, keep in mind that Russia is among the restrictive countries that are blocking VPN connections. Our teams are working to resolve the issue, but the restrictions are especially aggressive. For now, we suggest using the Quick connect option to try and establish a connection.
