Versie 1.0.3
Uitgegeven op 15 jul. 2026 - 286,4 KBWerkt met firefox 128.0 en laterReading
- The active-sentence highlight is now one clean shape, correct on dark pages,
below the fold, and around tall content like formulas.
- Links keep the page's own color in an open sentence, so you can still see what's
clickable, and pinyin is never covered.
- Only Chinese words are selectable now.
More of the page gets read
- Text and streamed answers that load in after the page opens are now picked up,
paragraph by paragraph.
- Better handling of lists, headings, inline citations, formulas, and icons, and
line breaks now end sentences where the page shows one.
- Long pages with comment boxes work; Seep stays off inside text boxes you type in.
- Turn Seep on for a default skipped page if you think it is a mistake.
Sidebar
- Sidebar renders formula and emoji images fully, with easier-to-grab resize edges.
Keyboard
- "/" toggles a sentence's language, "C" collapses the sidebar, "," and "." jump
between sentences, and Enter explains grammar. Click a selected word to rate it.
Settings
- Density reads out as a percentage. "Pause until tomorrow" now ends at 4am instead of midnight.Broncode vrijgegeven onder Alle rechten voorbehouden

Versie 1.0.2
Uitgegeven op 11 jul. 2026 - 266,08 KBWerkt met firefox 128.0 en laterBug-fix and polish release.
Fixes
- Emoji no longer disappear from processed sentences. Sites like YouTube load
comment emoji lazily; if Seep processed the text before the emoji image had
loaded, it showed as a blank space, both in the translated sentence and when
toggling back to the original English. Seep now shows the native emoji
character instead.
- The underline beneath the selected word now scales with the text size. On
large text it previously floated visibly above the sentence highlight, and
its placement on Firefox differed slightly from Chrome. It now sits
correctly at every font size, and normal-size pages look exactly as before.
- Opening a sentence while the sidebar was collapsed to its edge tab now
selects a word right away, so the keyboard rating shortcuts work
immediately. Previously nothing was selected until you expanded the sidebar.
- Uninstalling while signed out now opens the goodbye page, and feedback there
can be sent without an account.
Improvements
- The collapse-sidebar shortcut now has a default key: C. Custom key bindings
you already saved are kept.
- Expanding the sidebar from its collapsed tab no longer replays the slide-in
animation; the tab grows into the panel in place.
- Sentence audio is hidden during the onboarding tutorial and appears once
normal browsing begins.Broncode vrijgegeven onder Alle rechten voorbehouden
