door brian163, 2 jaar geledenI've used this add-on running pretty much in the background for years and the auto-save feature saved my butt from accidentally closed windows a few times. It was like a nice browser session insurance policy. But the user saved sessions feature combined with the new*** tracker feature is just brilliant. Now this add-on is saving me from a personal multi-opened windows with multiple tabs hell and has become a legit sessions manager for me. And the sync feature to Google Drive continues to be rock solid and one of the few add-ons that does it correctly (it just works). I just donated to the dev so I'm putting some money where my mouth is. ;-)
***Well I've since discovered this feature was released in May of 2022 so I guess it isn't as new as I thought (which was Sept. 2023). And it has some quirks around sessions opening at startup where you have to close the session and re-open it to get tracking going. I'm more concerned there haven't been any significant updates since Sept. of 2022 and I hope the dev isn't slowly abandoning this project. :-(

Also why is this not standard with firefox? - Waardering: 5 van 5door Helse_, één maand geleden

It would be better if you add confirm dialog before do delete the session (even you already had undo but it will be better to ask for confirmation on delete).

This extension brought them all back which saved me quite the headache. Of course, it couldn't bring back the groups from Tree Style Tab, but it was unrealistic to expect it to save another extension's data.

The easy access to auto session backups also golden. Together with Winger extension to stash windows, finally an upgraded browse experience which works nice and safe for 1000's of tabs over a 100 windows ; ))

- Waardering: 4 van 5door curiosity, 2 maanden geledenWhile it's come a long way since its inception (I switched to this after a feature-rich and reliable session manager that I used was discontinued after Firefox's engine overhaul), it still seems to act up sometimes with too many tabs open.

- Waardering: 1 van 5door Jackie Daytona, 2 maanden geledenCurrently, this add-on just duplicates the saved windows I had open and doubles up on my memory usage. It doesn't seem like this is needed anymore with Firefox's native support.
- Waardering: 1 van 5door aedgsegsfvw, 2 maanden geledenWARNING!!!!! If you have more than 10 tabs open, this will overload the extension. As a self-defence mechanism, the extension deletes the saved session.
It cannot import a saved session containing more than 10 tabs. - Waardering: 5 van 5door senoa, 3 maanden geleden
- Waardering: 2 van 5door Harry Btor, 3 maanden geledenIn the case of tab groups, this add-on does not preserve original tabs grouping while importing a session: it imports all tabs uniformly, i.e. without any tab grouping. Dear developers, please, correct this fault. P.S. Yet pinned non-grouped tabs are imported correctly (as pinned).

I've checked my sessions to try to find windows/tabs I wanted to go back to, and the last thing saved was over a month ago even though I know I had Firefox at least set to restore previous windows. But this extension didn't save ANYTHING over the last month+ even though I had it set to do so, so that feature doesn't do anything anymore apparently. I've lost dozens of sessions due to either a bug or recent updates, but either way this is bullshit.
