Twitter is bad. This extension replaces twitter with a message telling you that twitter is bad, thus preventing you from using twitter, because it is bad.

Disclaimer: this is only a visual change. Twitter is still probably doing Bad data-collection things even if you use this Add-On. however you will not be able to use twitter no matter what, which is the point of this addon.
