Абсолютно не рабочее расширение.

The extension isn't working for me. For the past year, I haven't been able to log in using it. The desktop app works, but the extension doesn't.
At the time of writing I tried to log in again and it said "rate limited". Funny thing is I can log out log in 100 times using the android or desktop app and that will work. But no.. not this extension, not even once.

I like Windscribe's approach to privacy and their dedication to it, don't get me wrong. But... boy is their connection super slow. It was a pain to browse even simple news websites containing mostly text. Then there's the fact that the addon says upon initialization that it uses Ublock which I already have, and that using both simultaneously is not recommended. On disabling Ublock origin, I got ads on YouTube. I couldn't find the setting that allowed me to use my old ad blocker instead of Windscribe's built in one that only seems to work with the VPN on.

Расширение перестало работать пару лет назад - до сих пор так и не работает. Конкурентный VPN работает через расширение firefox, а Windscribe не работает.

ts doesnt even work

Great addon. Really. Works perfectly on Firefox and on Chrome.
Would be better if there was more than 10gb on the free tier, but nonetheless, this addon has a lot of extra options for tightening privacy and also there are free servers in many countries!

* for getting 10gb for free (every month) — you need to register an account and confirm your email on windscribe website.

It's impossible to login:
"Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later."

Debug log says:
"errorDescription":"JSON.parse: expected double-quoted property name at line 5 column 1 of the JSON data"

Tried in 2 different PCs, with 2 different Firefox profiles.

There's no better free VPN!

Every time I restart the browser I get reconnected, even though I disable it each time.
