Amazing. Just amazing. The only thing that could improve this would be an option to support more aspect ratios. For example, i have a monitor with a resolution of 1280:1024, which breaks youtube on extra wide videos like the wellerman song while also beeing in a playlist (not because of this addon). In addition, that causes the Sticky player to also not return to the default player after scrolling down and back up.

Does almost everything I need it to, except it doesn't stop playlists from randomly pausing a video just as it starts.

I love this extension so much!! YT is horrible without it, I would love for you to add a feature that allows you to change the size of the thumbnails on the right side of the screen while you watch a video; YT added an update where they are oversized. I would also love a feature where at the end of a video there's automatically the extra recommended videos instead of having to press V every time. If you even read or consider this comment thank you! And thank you for making this great extension, it's so versatile and useful! :)

This add‑on is remarkably effective. I previously relied on Enhancer for YouTube, but unfortunately its Firefox version is no longer maintained, with updates continuing only for Chrome and Edge. YouTube Tweaks now provides approximately eighty percent of the same functionality, though it still lacks a repeat‑play feature. The ability to specify a custom playback interval would further enhance its utility. I express my appreciation for the developer’s efforts.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Regarding the feature I mentioned about playing only a specific segment of a video, you can refer to the extension Enhancer for YouTube (which is still actively updated on both Chrome and Edge).
To put it simply, sometimes I only want to watch a particular portion of a video—for example, from 30 seconds to 4 minutes.
Enhancer for YouTube allows users to set a custom playback range like this.
I hope this explanation helps clarify the feature request.

nice. I use it for scroll over video speed and channel speed. But reset to default doesn't work, unless i turn of holding mouse button for scrolling, and only then it resets to the default speed of the app (which i have set to 1.6), not 1x as the UI describes.

That said, i do love the scrolling feature.

Though, why the source code for the extension are not available?
How can users trust the extension without reviewing it? How can you confirm that no user data are being collected, related to google/youtube?
Not only that, but that nothing is being done from the developing to the publish of new versions.

There is one feature not yet available, that can be useful, is to have only one foreground video playing, if one is playing and another is started playing, then the previous, are paused, could you add that?

This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing.

Can you provide the url to the repository you are developing the extension, as well as the CI?

this is perhaps the most functional and well-polished add-on for the UI on youtube that I have used - coming from someone who is quite a power user and has tried many different well-known recommended add-ons. everything just works very well, and snappily on top of that. i have not experienced any slow downs at all and the in place popup UI is very convenient.

to the developer(s), my only recommended addition for this add-on, would be to add an option for auto-pausing background tabs, and within that category perhaps another option to automatically resume/start playback when loading that background tab into the foreground - or if unnecessary just building that into the same option as the one earlier mentioned. Perhaps you might take inspiration from the AutoPause add-on.

Thank you for developing this wonderful add-on, I will be looking forward to future updates, as I see that so far it has been getting quite frequent and regular updates. All the best. :)))
