Charging for a browser extension is scummy

Feels diabolical to charge for an extension that a handful of others Can do for free.

Free addon which requires a subscription / payment to use literally any feature. Pointless and scummy.

Yet another "free" extension that requires a paid purchase to function, shame on you developers! If you actually need a free extension that's better than this in every way check out "Windowed - floating Youtube/every website" instead

I have a super wide monitor and when I play youtube in fullscreen, some part of my monitor is always unused due to different proportions. Tested it for 1 min, works well.

You may find an older version somewhere else, submit it to AMO with non-public option, and using it for free forever.

A simple, free extension that is going paid. Recommend finding an alternative.

You shouldn't take away things that you chose to make free before and demand payment to give them back. Only new features should come with new prices.

Your accessible pricing and your choice of words make me think you're an alright guy. Do the right thing and walk back that "moving" a previously free feature behind a paywall nonsense. Keep up the good work on the premium features to justify the price you set for them instead of cannibalizing the free features to make the premium mode seem good by comparison.

It's your work and you can monetize it however you'd like, but I am not going to reward you for pushing an update that deliberately took away a feature I had access to before. I would've been more than happy to support if this change had been done right. v4.2

Why does it need to know my tab data since the last update? I don't mind that it went freemium, doesn't excuse the creepy behavior though.

It was free before, now it is premium.

New version locks existing features behind a paywall, go to version history and downgrade to 4.2 to bypass.

Works much smoother since "premium" update; happy to support for the additional features. If possible I would love if we could see the video title when the mouse cursor enters the player area. Cheers!

Previously loved this... now the dev has come on "hard times" and updated to make it a subscription product with no prior warning. I understand devs deserve money, but making this a subscription is a joke. Anyone who still wants to use it, go to version history on the plugin page and install version 4.2 to keep it for free.

Previously excellent. Thankfully you can install v4.2 from the version history page and disable automatic updates. I hope the dev's situation improves, but adding bloat and permission creep to paywall previously free features wasn't the move.
