I used to use this, and it served me well. Not only did it block ads, it let me choose annoying elements, like the spaces where ads were, to block entirely.

Sadly, since I let Firefox install the 100.0 iteration, Adblock Plus does basically NOTHING. Well, OK, it lets me install it, but does nothing afterward. Since there's no "Contact us" for ABP, I can't even tell 'em their addon is broken.

So, maybe they'll eventually realize the problem, and if they fix it, I'll revise this review. For now, however, it gets one star. I'd give it NO stars if I could.

Hi Nosmo King!

Thanks for contacting us! After some research, we've found that some users are experiencing ads due to "always use private mode" enabled. Try disabling this option and let us know if you still have issues. To do this, click the settings menu icon in the right corner of the browser > settings >privacy & security > scroll down to the history section > choose "Use custom settings for history" from the drop down menu > uncheck "always use private browsing mode".     Not only does it fail to block ads on youtube, but it also prevents other ad blockers from doing so. Garbage

    Yutube video quility is automatically being set to low even when I am switing to high quality. Disabling this plugin resolvs the issue so something to do with this plugin being intefering with youtube video player.

    Love This Ad Blocker, but youtube give a pop-up saying it violates There Terms Of Service and wont let you use there service anymore.

    We are using a new strategy to handle YouTube's anti-ad blocking warning. When we detect YouTube's notification, we will automatically pause Adblock Plus so you can continue watching without disruption. The pause is temporary so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again. We believe YouTube will only attempt to show you the wall for a day or two and then we can go back to blocking ads as normal.
