This add-on enables me to use almost any website effortlessly while healing from debilitating photosensitivity. I simply could not have used most of my favorite websites for the last year without it. Any bugs that might arise from other sites updating are SWIFTLY addressed by the developer and with transparency for all users. The dev tools under the hood are robust, and so any site with niche use cases for my personal needs are also accessible. I wish I could throw money at the dev for providing an invaluable tool for so many people, working tirelessly to uphold its quality, and helping so many of us use the internet without pain. I hope this review, and the hundreds of people I have recommended this app to (many of which are abled but just enjoy reduced eyestrain now!!!), can be the next best thing!

When viewing photos and text on Google Maps, problems often occur.
I have to change or disable the filter to get it to display properly, and even when I switch to a different filter, the text sometimes doesn't display.

Since then, however, there's been noticeable slowing in my system to the point that I can't use FF while this extension is enabled. I don't know if this add-on changed or if FF did, but I went from using this extension 24/7 to only using it when my eyes are really hurting and, even then, while needing to weigh out what speed I need pages to work at. The extension has crashed my browser multiple times and has been a disappointment since. I'll amend this if it's fixed, but for now I can't recommend this extension :(

Die hat zwar nicht soviel Einstellmöglichkeiten, sie ist nicht sonderlich aktuell, aber die Webseiten sehen alle identisch dunkel aus (im Vergleich zur dieser hier) und ich habe weniger Ressourcenverbrauch.

I closed and restarted Firefox and DR was gone. It simply disappeared from my list of installed add-ons. Why would it do this?
