works on my laptop but not on my phone which is dissapointing

i hate the rise of generative AI and how it's being forced down our throats. with extensions like this, i can easily (and thankfully) reduce my carbon footprint. my only issue is that the AI overview still pops up under the first couple of hits in a search so i would like to see that removed as well. thank you!

Doesn't work. Google figured out how to get around it. DO NOT BOTHER. This add-=on is now completely useless.

Best one I have found so far. The two others I tried either uses the web section in search or the AI Overview shows up for like a second before going away. This had none of those issues so I give it 5 stars. Thank you

No longer works. All my permissions are turned on but I still see those stupid "results" with every search. Google sucks.

No longer works. An easy alternative if you're using ublock origin is to just add this to your filters:

google.com##.hdzaWe

Strange... Works for some names (Jim, Tommy, Johnny...) but not with some others (John, Frederic...)

It does work, but you need to switch on permissions in the settings of this add-on in Firefox after you installed it, otherwise it wound't work. You turn on permissions for the local Google websites you use (eg: ://google.com - ://google.at for Austria, ://google.com.au for Australia, etc.) and you're all set.
