Akshar does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data.

The extension sends song lyric text to the Google Gemini API for romanization and translation. This data is sent directly from your browser to Google's servers and is not routed through any third-party server controlled by the developer. No browsing history, personal information, or usage analytics are collected.

Cached lyrics data is stored locally in your browser's extension storage and never leaves your device.
