av Shade74, 7 månader sidanThis add-on works very well for improving performance, is easy to use, and has lots of customization options. However, one feature that it's sorely missing is the ability to view a tab or bring a tab into focus without un-discarding it. This is a major issue for me because I scroll through tabs to navigate my browser, so I end up loading a bunch of tabs I don't want to load. If there was an option to only un-discard a tab when I click in the tab instead of when I open it, this would be perfect.

Then I need to close the browser and open it again, to free up my RAM. My next planned step before knowing about this extension was to buy more RAM.
But this extension fixes the problem. All tabs that are not used just get their resources freed after some time. How this is not a standard feature in Firefox baffles me...
