The "Download as" thing never shows up in the page, and clicking on the toolbar icon just puts up an endless "Generating download link, pls. wait..." mini-window. As with all downloader extensions, this is in an arms race, and right now YouTube is winning. Virtually all of them are failing lately, but this one is failing worse that most, in not even putting up the interface elements it's supposed to, much less actually extracting video DL code.

It do no get the download button lin the Like/Dislike line, or anywhere else that I can see it. I'm using Firefoz 115.20.0esr (64 Bit).

I have been through the recommended fixes many times with no change. The button at the top of the screen just opens a window that says creating a download link and never finishes.
I even paid for the pro version and I can't check it is setup because you need the download button to do that.
