2-5-25 same. cannot do partial pages unless in FFox. Slow can't handle large pages and freezes your machine w/out warning or requires you to split the page into segments. slow to load slow to perform
8-31-24: Slow as hell. Only works well with firefox. they must be using Commodore servers with wet string tin can connection to the net.
7-29-24: selecting portion to be copied only works on ffox. won't work on brave. better than awesome screen shot for this purpose WIth awsome it's a unreliable two step process to get a portion of the page to save.
1-17-24: Last time I tried Fireshot screen capture, I noticed some definite improvements: a WARNING when capture webpage is too long and splits the image into pieces for faster save and download. Hope this wasn't a temporary fix because it is a big improvement. Also seems to more reliably give u the option of your partial selection of the page instead of automatically trying to save the entire page. Good going.
10-20-23: ico doesn't appear sometimes so you cannot select image you want to capture, u have to take the defaul full page which implements w/out your input. Freezes computer on large pages requiring hard reboot. Slow. Awesome capture is better program.
9-11-23: kinda buggy. Sometimes freezes computer in windows 8.1 as it cannot handle the cpu/memory load on larger captures. This frequently means a hard reboot: NOT GOOD. Flaky method of selecting portions of the page that often does not work To SLOW to go to save image. Cannot set the path and directory to save captures without having to add the FIRESHOT directory and BS to every file. Other than that it's too damn slow.
7-28-23: Puts big white lines interspersed in the capture image. Often slow and flaky especially with tor. Had to install Awesome screen capture which is working much better. This one works about 50% of the time and is slow and not reliable in it's response to user input. It's ok, just needs to be polished more.
so far works pretty well. PDF is slow. Have only used it recently so the warts may show up later. but so far so good.

Spying on you. All links in PDF are redirected getfireshot.com . Test it yourself and see. Removed. Using the built in screen capture in FF found in customized toolbar instead which does not steal your info

Works very nicely indeed. I've hardly ever have issues with it. Use this many times a week and never needed to look elsewhere for another extension.

12-21-24: partial image only works on ffox. slow. bogs down or freezes laptop on long pages, no warning. Sometimes requiring reboot.

8-8-24: Only allows user selection of portion of page on Firefox-will not work on other browers it's all of nothing then. Frequently cannot deal with long pages and freezes your pc. Slow.
4-24-24: gotten worse instead of better. Author could not fix the problem with not being able to select portions of a page so now you have NO CHOICE you get the full page whether youwant it or not. Because the author can't program his way out of a paper bag, that's why. SLOOWWWWW not infrequently freezed your computer without any escape. More junkware addons.
12-28-23: Reduced to two stars. Developer doesn't have the skills to ensure that capture SELECTION is available and program auto captures entire page whether you like it or not. This results in your computer freezing up because program cannot deal with overlimit memory usage-no warnings no way to escape except reboot. BADBADBAD! Amateur hour. Works well on small pages but is exceedingly SLOWWWW. Nuf said.
7-4-23: update:
another addon that works about 60% of the time. Rest of the time it is TOO SLOW and you cannot reliable scroll save screenshots as it is unresponsive or too damn slow to respond. Especially bad with the crap browser tor or any page you want to scroll several pages. Hard to determine when to stop the scroll. Key shortcuts work better than mouse clicks for this. Good idea but like most extensions not implemented well. Takes too long also to download the image and save it. Not a flexible way to set a unique download folder for this.
update 4-7-23: doesn't work on tor browser with long page. you sometimes get "infinite page detected, stop load?" But then the stop load doesn't work and you cannot save anything. SLOWWWW SLOWWW, take a coffee break while your waiting for this junk addone to load. Only works on short pages.

5-2-23: Still mostly not working on tor browsers with longer pages. When it DOES work it is painfully slow. Can't wait all day for it to complete. Doesn't work at all on earlier versions of tor browser. So far NO GOOD total screen capture available, they all suck.
