NextUp is a browser extension that displays daily release information for Movies, TV Shows, and Anime. We value user privacy and transparency.

This document explains how data is handled by the extension.

Information We Collect
NextUp does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

We do not collect:

Names or email addresses
Account or authentication details
Location or IP information
Browsing history or website interactions
Device identifiers or analytics
Financial, health, or personal records
Local Storage
The extension may save a user-provided TMDB API key locally using browser storage to improve reliability and avoid rate limits.

This key:

Remains only on the user's device
Is never sent to any server controlled by us
Is not shared, transferred, or tracked
Use of External APIs
NextUp retrieves public metadata from:

The Movie Database (TMDB)
AniList GraphQL API
These requests are read-only and used only to display release information (titles, posters, scheduling details).
No personal information is involved or required.

Data Sharing
NextUp does not:

Sell data to third parties
Share or transfer data
Use advertising or tracking services
Analyze usage patterns or behavior
Children’s Privacy
NextUp does not target or collect data from children or any users.

If this extension ever needs to collect data in the future, this policy will be updated before changes take effect.
