This was amazing several years ago, but starting to break down because original author (codebicycle) no longer has time to maintain. I've switched to Speeder, which is a revival of this original.

Works flawlessly for me. I run Firefox on Ubuntu. It also worked well for me on Windows and Firefox before I switched to Linux.

I absolutely love this addon/extension for Chrome, but when added to Firefox, MANY features of Firefox have become unusable. Even things like ctr+f to find text, maybe options that are available when you right click a page on your mouse. PLEASE FIX!

I can't speak to how it works on other sites, but my teacher added additional videos to a Canvas post that had no ability to fast forward and this is saving me. It can be a bit janky but it's nothing I didn't expect from an extension adding a non-native feature. (Though, edit, the clunkiness went away once I used the keyboard shortcuts!)

Works, but really slows down loading on certain websites (like Reddit) making them annoying to use. Will be uninstalling.

Lately Unresponsive on Youtube......

Seems to work good most of the time; but on Youtube, sometimes it will be unresponsive, so I can't change the speed of the video. I have tried disabling all adblockers in case they were interfering, but they don't seem to be the problem. This has only occurred on Youtube so far.

Pleaaaaaaase fix compatibility with Paramount Plus. For some reason, only on that website, I cannot hide the UI. Pressing the hotkey will make it go away for a split second, and then immediately return.

It doesn't work properly in Firefox. Sometimes the graphical environment on the video doesn't respond to the mouse.

For those getting black screen with Amazon Prime Video - set the speed to what you want and disable the controller overlay and it'll work right away. You can use the shortcuts instead as well. In settings, you can permanently disable controller overlay by default.

The extension is great and works flawlessly, the problem is that it renders a LOT of website completely unusable for upwards to 10-15 seconds at times. Whenever I open a link in a new tab, the website freezes for some seconds, on heavier websites the slow down is extremely evident. I just can't justify the performance loss. This does not happen with the same extension on Chrome.

There is significant slowdown to my browser when this is turned on. But the functionality works on videos.
