Just one thing: I hope there's an option to disable the release notes page from popping up out of nowhere everytime this add-on updates, it's one of my pet peeves.

Most don't follow the Page on Facebook. So when I make significant changes, I may pop up an update page. But this definitely doesn't happen for minor releases. I hope you and others understand. I go to 'Old Layout for Facebook' and install it - then I go to Facebook & refresh it (F5) & nothing changes. I even have reloaded FB & rebooted my PC (I turn it off every night anyway) & still I get the new layout. Am I doing something wrong? I am on Windows 10 and Mozilla Firefox.
