After much frustration and searching, I looked for two extensions mentioned in an article on GB Times ( gbtimes dot com/how-to-see-all-comments-on-facebook/).
I couldn't find "Facebook Comment Viewer" or "Comment Uncover" anywhere, but the Comment Uncover search lead me to "All: Show All Comments for Facebook, by Neatrat" which works perfectly. I'm even finding days-old posts that I completely missed.
