EDIT: As per developer response, it does (mostly) work after manually focusing the video element. However, N and P for next and previous still do not have any effect.ਵਿਕਾਸਕਾਰ ਜਵਾਬ

Two ways to make it focused:
1. Click it
2. When you load up a video

The extension's options page mistakenly listed "N" and "P" for the next and previous videos on the playlist
