However some limitations amount to annoyances. LastPass atleast for the moment has better detection on password changes and registrations (atleast on Linux tested on Google-Chrome, Firefox and Chromium). Another annoyance I recently ran into is premium features I would suggest should be able to be toggled off so as to not make this software feel like shareware/freeware. The import of my LastPass Vault went pretty straight forward but had a few minor issues that I quickly figured out.... Infact its been a few months since and I can't recall but I believe it had to do with a few comments?? Luckily nothing major and I have a huge vault so I expect most users to be able to import without problems and whatever issue I may have ran into likely may have already been corrected. This addon has a lot of potental so please don't view my review as anything but constructive criticism! Currently I am on the fence over detection of changed passwords/missed registrations since thats a huge pro for me. I'd give this 3 stars if it were not for the open-source factor which is a huge security improvement in password management. Encryption is nice but if it is implimented poorly it is useless so by being open-source I feel that user scrutiny will catch anything that might not be caught in closed-sourced software.

Released Oct 16, 2025, Version 2025.10.0 causes extreme browser performance issues, as if running a malicious extension. High CPU, whole browser becomes slow.
Had to revert to Version 2025.9.0.
Other recent, I think it was Aug 22, 2025, Version 2025.8.1 was freezing and crashing Firefox because it was running out of memory (OOM).
You just never know when this extension is safe or stable with these reckless public alpha releases.
I will be looking into replacement before Bitwarden causes some serious damage and gets my passwords leaked. - Ocena: 5/5Autor: Expmodo, 2 dni temuIt works great, but as noted below, it slows down text input in the browser. The bug is present whenever the extension is enabled. Disabling the extension makes text input normal.

The latest performance issues within the last month now is typing on many webpages is extremely slow with the extension enabled. Disabling/uninstalling it appears to fix the problem.

- Ocena: 3/5Autor: Jason B., 15 dni temuOverall mostly a great extension, but on my home computer, the "save my login" doesn't work. It's random but often daily I have to type in my email address and SUPER LONG, SUPER SECRET master password. This should not be the case, but the bug has been hanging around for months. Bug reports have not helped get the issue resolved.

- Ocena: 1/5Autor: gentux, 17 dni temuWhen I try to login it says "NetworkError when attempting to fetch ressource" Can't use it. Bitwarden Desktop client logs in just fine on the same machine on the same network, Bitwarden works on my iPhone, iPad and Mac but not in Firefox on Windows.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: TRR, 19 dni temuI've used this for years but recently (Oct 2025) having the extension enabled is now making typing in text fields in Firefox slow down noticeably, like it'll often show 2 or 3 letters behind what I'm typing. Disabling the extension fixes the performance problems but then I can't use Bitwarden :(

- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Yaestro, 22 dni temuSlows down YouTube even if autofill is disabled. Slowing down browsers (even Chrome) for over a year. Will try an alternative.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: frxrnk, 23 dni temuThe add-on has massive performance issues and slows down pages a lot, especially if they have many dynamic elements, which is now very common. It often causes freezes and sluggish animations/scrolling.
I was hoping it would stop the constant scanning for form fields on page changes by disabling "Show autofill suggestions in form fields", so it only does its scan when autofill is requested with the shortcut or from extension panel, but it made no difference.
Only excluding the domains worked, but then why have the add-on at that point. Disabling it significantly improved general navigation.
I hope they address the add-ons performance concerns soon, as they have one of the better products out there. - Ocena: 5/5Autor: iz, 25 dni temu
