57.0へのアップデート後、使いにくくなったStylishを止めて、このStylusを使用した。以前のStylish同様の機能を持ちながら、それ以上の使いやすさを実現している。もうStylishに戻ることはないだろう。

各種項目は日本語化され、内容は適切でわかりやすい。特に、何か期待する動作と違うことになりそうなとき、その理由が表示されるのがとても良い。次に何をすればいいのか一目瞭然だからだ。

Stylusは、ユーザーCSSを駆使する人たちにとってより良い選択となるだろう。

The UI is kind of ugly and some options are not entirely clear, but it does the job. Thanks! Would be awesome if you guys could lobby Firefox for an API to change userChrome.css via Stylus.

New to all this. Tried installing Stylish 3 on FF 57. Install repeatedly fails with database error, and could not find any way to resolve this.
Installed Stylus, install went perfectly, created a new theme using CSS copied from userstyles.org. Worked perfectly first time. Excellent so far!

Non-intrusive alternative to Stylish that actually works.

Does not work on Firefox 56 for Android.

awesome replacement for stylish!!! and the one that keeps compatibility with firefox 52 and windows xp (this is my grandpa's pc and it's too old for windows 7 onwards)

- PS: for the people looking for custom and/or dark firefox options and about pages just install a theme that changes that, I have FT Deep Dark theme and "my favolours" style for a dark and non-eyehurting web experience
- PS2: One thing I liked from old stylish is that it had omnipresent application of global themes. With stylus sometimes is visible a white screen for a second after clicking a link. Also sites like this one and firefox start page are not included in stylus for global themes. If you could fix that it would be awesome. Thanks for your work

I am getting "This add-on requires a newer version of Firefox (at least version 55.0). You are using Firefox 52.0." But I am actually using Firefox 57.0! What sorcery is this?

Edit:

I downloaded version 1.1.4.2 of Stylus and was then able to update to version 1.5 from Firefox's add-on manager. Stylus add-on page still says my version of Firefox is 52.0, though.

The only addon that gives the complete "Before-57" experience, and even more!
I was able to convert the broken Stylish.sqlite database, and import all my 70+ hand-made styles.
Everything works as intended. Thank you!


What about these two features:
1) customizing browser-specific pages (like about:home, context menus) or addon pages (w/o userChrome.css);
2) using the external editor to edit CSS (Notepad2, Notepad++, Brackets)?

Is it the matter of time, or these features won't be ever available with the Web Extensions API?

This addon is an excellent replacement to the now privacy-hostile Stylish addon. It has everything the original addon had and more, all without collecting your data on the sly.

But what really prompted me to write this review is the recent removal of the character limit on copying from the editor. This had bugged me so much in all the years I had used Stylish (and the short while I've used Stylus). I'm not sure when or why it was implemented, but it always felt like some weird DRM right there in the editor. Kudos to the Stylus team for taking that out. :D

EDIT: For people who want to style the Firefox UI and things like "about:" pages, you can use userChrome.css and userContent.css for those.

Наконец то я его нашёл на замену переставшему работать Stylish*у
Использую в основном приложение для того, что бы резать ненавистную рекламу!

Сделайте пожалуйста возможность блокировать рекламу по определённым координатам.
Или что б можно было делать правила которые будут успешно "резать" блоки с рандомными ID которые очень мне мешают.

И сделайте что б счётчик работающих правил, отображался только на домене где эти правила работают, а не на всех открытых вкладках.

Don't know why i did not switch much earlier to Stylus (WebExt) :-)

Since brandnew Stylish version 3.0.1 (update to WebExt) is totally broken right now i encountered Stylus and it's way better than Stylish and has some very good options to handle styles.

If you follow the instructions to convert your styles to Stylus everything will work fine.
Some minus - if you change the values of an existing style you use on userstyles there will be no changes made when you klick "update style". only uninstall and reinstall with new values works.
for this reason 4 stars.
would be nice if the develeoper would change this.

Working great for me with userstyles and freestyler, at least now i have themes from this two sites working with only one add-on, thanks.
