Best ad-blocker I've had. The customization lets you wipe out any and all traces of ads from the internet, and even lets you block ad-block blockers and social media buttons. It's amazing.

Love this extension because it does exactly what it says.. blocks unwanted adds and is light and takes less resources.. adding it to my browser didn't increase the startup time too.. great work !

A great adblocker. Not only does it blocks ads, it permits you to delete elements of pages - you can delete things that you don't want to see, for example, the Trending tab of Twitter is removable with this addon. It is my favorite feature.

Up until yesterday, this add-on worked great. Since the latest update, uBlock Origin seems to be preventing Google News links from opening. If I disable uBlock Origin with all of the rest of my add-ons enabled, the Google News links work fine. Yet if I enable uBlock Origin, and disable all of the other add-ons I have installed, the Google News links do not work. When I click on a link, the web page "blinks" off for a split second as if a new page is about to open, but the original page comes back instead, unchanged. However I am still able to open Google News links by right clicking on the link and selecting "Open Link In New Tab". Links on other websites do not appear to be affected. I'm using Firefox 58.0.1 and Windows 10.

I do not give 5 star ratings often, hardly ever to be honest. I have been in the technology world for 30+ years and I have seen a lot things come and go. I must say, some have been good while others not so much.
uBlock Origin, the devs behind this addon/plugin that you can get for just about any popular browser (perhaps all of them), has done a fantastic job. A lot of applications that are designed to do what this one does, fail to do so with such smoothness and grace. I use this along side of 2 or 3 apps designed to keep you safe and to block junkware while surfing, they all play nice and do an awesome job. uBlock stands out with it's ability to allow you to control what and when to block as well as doing it so well. It has some features that actually work, that I have not been able to use in other apps that advertise they do the same thing. Excellent work Devs. keep up the awesome work!
