Features:

Directly replaces Firefox’s built-in download dialog—no need to click the built-in download button or use the right-click menu.

Can pass headers (referrer, cookies) to Aria2.

Automatically starts and stops Aria2c.


Known Issues:

FTP downloads are not supported.

An error message may occasionally appear after clicking the download button, as Aria2c might not be fully started yet.

Firefox’s built-in download mechanism does not allow passing referrer and cookies due to official restrictions.

You need to download Aria2 separately and complete the configuration in the options (protocol, address, port, interface) and save the settings before you can start using the extension.

If you prefer not to start Aria2 manually, you can write a program to launch Aria2 in the background and register it with your system’s "autostart" or "uri scheme."
