I must say I did not care for the tab groups feature until I found this add-on and now I really find myself using it, so I recommend it highly.

The only disappointing thing about this extension is the fact that it's been around for 7 months and I didn't know about it D:

It runs automatically upon installation and messed up all my original tab groups.

This extension makes the already useful groups concept a much smoother and more logical experience. Being able to use regex matching to help with the filter is really great. But the default setup is already helpful

A must have for a tab-a-holic! Throughout the work day I end up with so many Git*, Jira, etc. pages open that before using this add-on I often ended up with multiple copies of the same page open.

Now that they are grouped I have a much easier time finding what I already have open! Could I reduce my tab clutter? Probably, but now I no longer need to!

Not to mention being able to group all my monitoring tabs together in a single group!

I was wishing for an extension like this. I heard about the upcoming AI rollouts for tabs Mozilla is doing and personally I don't need my tabs hallucinating on me. So this was awesome to not only find but confirm that it works perfectly. The custom tab syntax options alone are well worth it, thank you for this!

Coming back to Firefox after a year of Edge, The auto group feature was one of the feature i missed the most, this extension is exactly what i needed, many thanks to the dev ! Looking forward to seeing the future features you are working on.

This is a great extension. The main thing that was preventing me from moving over was tab groups!

Now the only thing I want is hiding tab groups that are not in use. Other than that its great!

It also super useful that this is also on Chrome. I have to use Chrome for work, so now I can have the same rules at work and home.

Edit: Also the dev is super responsive, he responded back to my review in 13 mins lol. Also it works for Zen Browser! I wish I could donate some money to the dev.

I've been using the tab groups on Chrome for a long time, and now that I've switched to Firefox, it was great to be able to continue using them.

it would be even better if no new group is generated when there's only one tab satisfied the specific rule.


EDIT: That's awesome! Thanks for the quick response and effort! There's also a related option to consider——automatically dissolve groups when the number of tabs in the group falls below the same (or an independent) threshold. Groups containing few tabs can sometimes be easily distracting and annoying.
