It seems that there are also issues with syncing too. So while I have fixed this issue on one computer manually (partially by disabling the plugin and restoring an old backup). Yet after syncing bookmarks to my second computer, I now have the same problem on my second computer! Although I have properly synced the "fixed" set of bookmarks from the first computer. Yet somehow this plugin thinks that all of my "fixed" bookmarks are "new" and thus places them in the same single default directory.
As per description of this plugin, it should not interfere with sync. But it seems it does.

- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Cyberknight, rok temuVery useful extension. Remembering last folder for saving is very handy. The unrelated option to save new bookmarks at the top of the folder is also extremely useful. So, it turns out that the main purpose of this extension, to set a default folder for saving bookmarks, didn't glow as much as the side options (to me, at least...) Well, I'm not complaining, it's an essential extension, all those options should be incorporated to Firefox base code!

- Ocena: 5/5Autor: atriptothemoon, 2 lata temuI'd love it if you could add this option : change the default behaviour when dragging and dropping a bookmark into a bookmark folder that the bookmark is added to the top not the bottom of the folder. Exactly as you can for the chosen default folder for quickbookmarking. thx for such a useful add on for those of us bookmark obsessed peeps. krgds Rob

It worked for a while, but after version 2.13 a breaking change was made that still wasn't reverted YEARS later, with the developer focusing on completely different features that really should have been a different add-on. This also meant I could not use automatic updates for my addons!
At some point, the default behavior changed and now remembers the last several locations a bookmark was saved and defaults to the last used location on its own, making even the ancient 2.1.3 version obsolete for my use case. - Ocena: 4/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 15564413, 2 lata temu
