DM Faster Firefox Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
DM Faster helps users run Instagram and Facebook outreach from their own logged-in browser session. This policy explains what the Firefox extension accesses, stores, and transmits.
Data the extension accesses
The extension may access the following data when needed to run outreach:
- Authentication information: the extension uses your existing logged-in Instagram or Facebook browser session. It does not ask for, collect, store, or transmit your Instagram or Facebook password.
- Personal communications: the extension uses the message text you create in DM Faster so it can send that message to selected recipients.
- Personally identifying information: the extension may handle your DM Faster account email, workspace identity, target usernames, account handles, campaign names, and worker connection details.
- Website content: the extension reads parts of Instagram and Facebook pages so it can find message buttons, conversation boxes, send buttons, existing chat state, and related page status.
- Website activity: the extension performs browser actions on your behalf, such as opening tabs, clicking message buttons, typing messages, sending messages, and reporting whether a send succeeded, failed, or was skipped.
How data is used
DM Faster uses this data only to provide the extension’s core functionality:
- Connect the extension to your DM Faster workspace
- Open Instagram or Facebook in your browser
- Find the correct profile or conversation
- Insert and send the message you prepared
- Respect campaign settings such as daily caps, pacing, and skip-history behavior
- Report campaign progress, errors, and send outcomes back to DM Faster
Data sent to DM Faster
The extension may send the following to DM Faster servers:
- Worker connection status
- Campaign/job identifiers
- Target handles or profile identifiers needed for the run
- Send outcomes such as sent, skipped, failed, or cancelled
- Error diagnostics needed to fix reliability issues
- Extension version and runtime status
- The DM Faster workspace/account the extension is linked to
Data sent to Instagram or Facebook
When you run a campaign, the extension sends your prepared message through your logged-in Instagram or Facebook browser session. This is necessary for the product to work.
Local storage
The extension stores connection and runtime state locally in your browser, including worker session details, current run state, installation ID, and diagnostics. This helps the extension stay connected and recover from browser or page reloads.
What we do not do
DM Faster does not:
- Sell personal data
- Collect Instagram or Facebook passwords
- Read unrelated websites
- Use browser history outside the supported DM Faster, Instagram, and Facebook workflows
- Send messages unless the user starts or enables a campaign
- Use extension data for advertising
Data retention
Campaign, worker, and diagnostic data is retained only as needed to operate the service, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain accurate campaign history. Users may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting DM Faster.
Third-party services
DM Faster may use infrastructure and email/payment providers to operate the app, authenticate users, send service emails, process billing, and monitor errors. These providers process data only as needed to provide the service.
User control
You can stop the extension at any time from the extension popup or DM Faster app. You can remove the extension from Firefox at any time. Removing the extension stops browser-side automation but does not automatically delete your DM Faster account.
