The October 2024 change at YouTube made this extension ineffective for me, and nothing new since then here so I bumped down to three stars. I don't know if upgrading to the PRO version will get things back to working, but I am not chancing it since I don't see any updated announcement in support page since October. I am using "YouTube Downloader (UDL Helper)" now to download 360p video from YouTube if anyone is desperate for an alternative to this

Simplicity is good. I'm puzzled at discrepancies in file download file sizes vs projected sizes. Its convenience and apparent speed let me choose a format, start the download, and do something else with my time.
I'm planning to continue its use and will probably upgrade after I install Starlink.
