    We completely understand the frustration and we want to make accessibility tools available to everyone. Helperbird offers over 20 free features that anyone can use without paying a thing.

    For features like voice typing, there are real server costs involved to keep them running, and we are a small team that needs to keep the lights on.

    Our Pro plan is just $15 a year, which gives you access to everything in Helperbird. We hope that is fair and affordable, and we are always working to make Helperbird better for everyone.

    the BEST addon for accessibility on Firefox. I very much love using its Reading Ruler, and sometimes its Reading mode/voice too.

    Voice typing is one of our Pro features because it costs us money to run the servers that power it. That said, our Pro plan is only $15 a year and gives you access to every feature in Helperbird, not just voice typing.

    We think it is a really great value and our voice typing has actually had some incredible improvements recently. We hope you give it a try!

    Where to start! Firstly, I'd like to thank Robert (the developer) for his generosity - the app is extremely cheap as apps go, and if you request a discount, one is available on top of this. It is very apparent that this app is a labour of love - Robert is constantly working on it and improving things, adding new features, etc.

    As someone with ADHD and ASD, I have always had to piece-meal together the features I need to help me study effectively - half a dozen different apps / extensions, and even then they don't quite meet my expectations. Helperbird, however, offers SO MUCH more, and all in one place - you can finetune your experience to your heart's desire, without shelling out for multiple apps that were abandoned ages ago.

    I have tried it on two browsers, so far, and the experience is great on each - I have to applaud Jamie's dedicated to rolling it out on multiple browsers and operating systems, it can't be a small feat.

    There is the occasional quirk or bug here and there, but the sheer breadth and depth of assistance Helperbird offers far outweighs having to quit and relaunch the extension now and then. If you do come across a bug, it's a chance to give back and send a bug report and help Robert refine the experience further.

    The features I particularly love are summarise, simplify, sticky notes, highlighting, and the amazing immersive reader with TTS. I also love the speed reader, which will be even better once TTS is added to it.

    I have a been a user of Helperbird for the past year or so and a huge fan of the work Robert has done.

    I have switched from Chrome to Firefox and glad this here too. 5/5.

    The update fixed opening issue of the app!!

    Tip: the Helperbird app, the width can be changed.

    It used to be a little rough but the Helperbird support team gave me access to the beta and can't wait for it to be released. Giving it 5 starts mostly for support and the upcoming features.

    Voice typing is available in Helperbird and has actually been completely rebuilt recently, it works better than ever now. It is a Pro feature since it requires costs to run, but our Pro plan is just $15 a year and includes access to all of Helperbird's features. We would love for you to give it another try!

    Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry you had trouble with voice typing. Since this review, we have completely rebuilt our voice typing feature from the ground up and it works really well now.

    It is a Pro feature at just $15 a year because there are real costs to keep it running, but you get access to everything in Helperbird with that. We would love for you to give it another go, we think you will be impressed with the improvements.
