It would be even greater if I could use Web clipper with the "reader view" feature of Firefox ("missing host permission for the tab").

Nice FOSS note taking app & web clipper, easily & flawlessly connects to smartphones.

This works wonderfully. The only things that I think are missing are options to automatically insert the source URI and date/time saved at the top of any note saved. This would be useful for future citations.
