Regarding keyboard shortcuts: this is actually a browser-level feature, not something specific to my extension. It works the same way for all extensions. That said, this is explained in the FAQ: you can access it by clicking the question mark icon in the interface. I understand that FAQs are easy to miss, though.
About the eye icons: this feature was explained in the release notes when it was introduced, but I don’t expect everyone to read past release notes. Instead, each icon does have a tooltip that explains its behavior:
- Open eye: highlights are always visible, whether the interface is open or closed
- Closed eye: highlights are disabled, regardless of the interface state
- Half-open eye: highlights are visible when the interface is open and hidden when it is closed
Thank you for the 4-star rating, it’s still appreciated. I’ll make an effort to improve clarity and documentation going forward, possibly with more visual explanations or short videos when time allows.
