Paper Retriever Extension Autor: CJE Enterprises (spinout of the Borges Lab at ASU)

The Paper Retriever web app at paper-retriever.com facilitates the retrieval of academic papers from user-supplied citations. Users can provide citations in any format, including snapshots. The web app then creates metadata summaries (archivable), provides publishers' direct download links & open access URLs (archivable), and RIS files to add citations to a reference manager. The browser extension auto-downloads papers in PDF format from the HTML reports created by the web app. The extension only downloads papers to which the user has rightful access; it does NOT "hack" publisher pages to gain unlawful access for users. On the HTML report pages, there is a complementary auto-rename utility that works for extension-downloaded papers.
