In case you were worrying about google shutting down the API don't worry they are working on a 3rd party data base of dislikes.

"With the removal of dislike stats from the YouTube API, our backend will switch to using a combination of scraped dislike stats, estimates extrapolated from extension user data and estimates based on view\like ratios."

I mean, what can I say? This is the bees' knees. Those responsible for the change to youtube obviously don't have bees' knees. No knees to speak of, even.
