Uploading and then downloading the engine data doesn't look like the most elegant solution, but if this is really the only thing you can do now, what you gonna do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'd consider checking whether the downloaded file is the same as the one you uploaded though, just to be sure that you are getting back the same thing and the file host is possibly not trying to do anything funny.

A sync feature with Google Drive/OneDrive would be nice addition (possible to go cross-browser too)! - Ocena: 5/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 19093911, 2 miesiące temu

Absolutely demential that I have to use an extension to get this basic feature though. At this point I just stick with Firefox by inertia. - Ocena: 5/5Autor: Dan, 6 miesięcy temu

- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Ed Love, 8 miesięcy temuFar too ridiculously complex! Why not just make it SIMPLE to export?! Geez :(
- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Virginwidow, 8 miesięcy temuNicely made and well documented. The best - perhaps only - "workaround" for the now broken open-search-xml engines

But nothing in any bit of documentation I've been able to lay hands on tells me how to do any of the following:
* Add this custom search to Firefox' list of default searches.
* Replace ordinary Firefox search with my just-defined custom search in the search window.
* Use the newly defined custom search in any practical way whatsoever.
The newly defined custom search simply vanishes. Without a referent or any practial means of actually sending it the search query I type into the search bar.
The icon shows up nowhere. The name of the custom search shows up nowhere.
The documentation on github leads me down a blind alley.
This addon does not appear to have any practical use. - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 18314556, rok temu

I'd like to see on the "Add a new search engine" page a note against the "Search name" field that this is the 'Full name' of the search, and you go into the " about:preferences#search" page to add the @keyword in a separate step -- to remind me next time -- but it's easy enough to figure out; especially as, at least, Firefox makes it easy to remove mis-named engines! :-D
