Skeinos turns your AI chat sites into one organized workspace.

If you use Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or ChatGPT every day, your chats pile up fast, and each site keeps them in a plain, messy list. Skeinos adds a simple sidebar on top of the sites you already use, so you can finally organize, search, and reuse everything in one place.

It works right inside the chat page. Nothing new to log into, and the whole extension is open source.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Organize chats into folders
Make folders and sub-folders, give them colors and icons, and drag chats in. Pin the important ones to the top. Archive the ones you don't need right now without deleting them.

• Search everything, instantly
Search across your chat titles and messages and jump straight to what you need. Filter by site, folder, tag, or date.

• Save and reuse prompts
Keep your best prompts in a prompt library and drop them into any chat from the Skeinos 'Insert Prompt' button or a quick keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+/ or ⌘/). Prompts can have fill-in blanks (like {{topic}}) so you tweak them before sending. Comes with a starter set of ready-made prompts.

• Save instruction profiles
Save your go-to instructions (like "answer briefly" or "act as a senior engineer") and switch between them in one tap, on any site.

• Tag and filter
Add tags to chats and prompts, then filter by tag to find related work fast.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Skeinos is local-first. Your conversations, titles, and search index stay on your device and are never sent anywhere, on any plan.

• We never read or send your passwords or logins.
• No ads. No selling your data. No tracking of what you do.
• No telemetry and no analytics of any kind: not opt-in, not off-by-default, none. There is no account to create and nothing of yours on a server.
• You can check all of this yourself. Skeinos is open source under the GPL-3.0 license, so the code that handles your chats is public: read it, review every permission it asks for, or build the extension from source.
