Steam Glance enhances web browsing by identifying links to Steam game pages and providing an immediate, interactive preview without needing to open a new tab.

Two primary ways of being activated:

Icon Hover: Automatically detects Steam links, whether they are clickable hyperlinks or just plain text, and places a small icon next to them. Clicking this icon opens the preview panel.
Context Menu Search: You can highlight any text on a webpage, right-click, and select "Search Steam for..." to find the game and open the preview panel for the top search result.

Key Features

The preview panel itself is the core of the extension and contains several distinct features:

Draggable Interface: The entire preview panel can be moved around the screen by clicking and dragging its header.
Media Carousel: The panel displays the game's header image, video trailers, and screenshots in a navigable carousel with left and right arrows.
Essential Game Info: Clearly presents the game's title, a short description, release date, and top genre tags.
Review Summary: Pulls the Steam review summary (e.g., "Very Positive") and displays it with color-coding.
Steam Pricing: Shows the current price on Steam, including any active discounts with the percentage off and the original price struck through.
Third-Party Price Comparison: The panel includes a small arrow that, when clicked, opens a side-panel listing cheaper prices for the game on other official stores like Fanatical and Green Man Gaming, powered by the IsThereAnyDeal (ITAD) API.
